What fleets ask us.
Straight answers, in plain words, from the fleet that runs on it. 41 questions in six groups.
What it is, and who it is for
What is FleetYard Pro?
FleetYard Pro is an operations portal for rider fleet companies in the UAE: the companies that employ delivery riders and put them on platforms like Keeta, Noon, Talabat, Careem, Deliveroo, Amazon, Shipa and ComeCome. It keeps every rider, bike and SIM in one list, puts each fine and Salik toll on the rider who had the vehicle, and builds every salary slip from the platform’s payout file. It was built in Dubai inside a working rider fleet, which runs its own riders on it every day.
Who is it for?
Fleet owners and their office: whoever runs salaries, fines and Salik, and the supervisors who hand out bikes. Plans start at up to 100 riders and go past 300. It is not for restaurants, and it is not an app a rider signs up for on his own: riders get it through the company they work for.
Is it only for food delivery?
No. It works for any fleet that is paid from a platform payout file, on bikes or cars. The platforms set up today are Keeta, Noon, Talabat, Careem, Deliveroo, Amazon, Shipa and ComeCome.
What does “rider fleet” mean here?
A company that holds the licence, visas, bikes and SIMs and supplies riders to a delivery platform. The platform pays the company for what its riders delivered; the company pays each rider his salary after its own deductions: Salik, fines, advances, khata and penalties. FleetYard Pro is the office side of that: everything between the platform’s file and the rider’s pocket.
Do we need to install anything?
No. The portal opens in the browser on any laptop or phone. Riders install the rider app on iPhone or Android. On Scale and above, or as an add-on, the app is listed on the App Store and Google Play under your own company name.
Can we try it before we decide?
Yes. The live demo opens any time with a made-up fleet of 2,814 riders, every page open, in a copy made just for you. Nobody else sees your changes and it is deleted 12 hours after you leave. There is no free pilot: before go-live we do a test run on your own riders and last month’s files, so you judge it on your own numbers.
From the payout file to the slip
Which platform files does it read?
Keeta, Noon, Talabat, Careem, Deliveroo, Amazon, Shipa and ComeCome. You upload the file the platform sends you, as it is. Each row is matched to a rider by his platform ID. If a platform changes its columns, tell us on WhatsApp: we map the new ones and you upload again.
How is a salary slip built?
From the payout file. The portal matches each row to a rider, takes off Salik, fines, advances, khata and low-performance penalties in a fixed order, and shows a draft slip for each rider. Your office checks the draft, locks it and marks it paid. The rider then sees it on his phone in the order the money moved: platform earnings, platform deductions, platform payout, company deductions, net pay.
In what order do deductions come off?
Salik first, then fines, then advances, then khata, then low-performance penalties, oldest first inside each. Khata never comes off by itself: your office ticks how much to take. No slip can be locked below zero.
What if his pay can’t cover everything?
The last deduction is taken in part. The rest stays open on that toll, fine or advance and waits for his next slip. Nothing is lumped into one debt and nothing is dropped.
What if we pay a rider less than his slip?
The difference goes onto his next slip as “Balance carried”, so he sees it and nobody forgets it.
Does it check the file against what the platform paid?
Yes. A ComeCome or Shipa build stops if any rider’s figure doesn’t match the platform’s sheet. For Keeta, one click checks every slip of the month against the file without changing anything.
A platform ID moved from one rider to another. Who gets paid?
Whoever held the ID that month. Each ID keeps its own history of who held it and when, so each month’s pay goes to the rider who held it then. His first ID also sets his joining date.
Who had the bike
How does it know who had the bike when a fine was issued?
From the hand-over records. When a bike or car changes hands, your office records it with the date and time, from a phone if you like. Weeks later, when a fine arrives, the plate leads to the bike, the bike’s hand-overs show who held it that day, and the fine goes on his name and comes off his next slip.
Where do fines come from?
From the Dubai Police check, from your bike company’s monthly fine file, or your office adds one with the plate, date and amount. The screenshot or PDF stays on the fine as proof. Each fine shows on the rider’s draft slip before payday, so your office can untick or fix it before the slip is locked.
What if nobody recorded the hand-over that day?
The fine waits as unassigned instead of landing on the wrong rider. Add the hand-over later with the right date and its fines and tolls move to the right rider. If one is already on a locked slip, the portal asks you first.
The bike was in the workshop that day. Who pays?
Nobody. Mark the workshop days on the bike, and a fine or toll dated inside them goes on no rider.
The rider already paid the fine himself.
Mark it paid by the rider, and nothing comes off his slip.
What does a Salik gate cost?
AED 6 in rush hours (6 to 10 am and 4 to 8 pm, Monday to Saturday), AED 4 at other times and all day Sunday, and nothing between 1 and 6 am. FleetYard Pro takes each trip at the amount on your Salik statement, not at a fixed rate.
What about charges from the bike company?
Impound and repair charges go to whoever held the bike on those dates, at the amount the bike company billed.
Day to day
What does our office have to record for this to work?
One thing above all: bike and car hand-overs, with the date and time. That record is what puts every fine and toll on the right rider. A vehicle can’t be with two riders at once, each rider holds one company SIM, and the portal refuses anything else.
How do riders ask for an advance?
In the rider app, with the amount and the reason. Your office sees the request with a safety score and its reasons: how it compares with his recent pay, what he already owes, how often he works, how long he has been with you and his deposit. Approve, change the amount or decline. Advances come off after Salik and fines, oldest first, and what is not taken stays on the advance.
What is khata?
The bigger debts: a visa, a bike repair, a loan. A khata sits on the rider’s profile and never comes off by itself. Your office ticks how much to take each month, up to what his pay can cover, and sees what came back, what is left and roughly when it clears. Cash he pays in is recorded on the khata too.
How are low-performance penalties worked out?
From the platform’s pay. When a rider is paid less than his monthly target, the portal works out what he is short by, with the target shrunk to the days he actually had a bike. Each case waits for your office with the numbers: confirm, reduce or waive it. What his pay can’t cover is carried to next month, not dropped.
What happens when a rider leaves?
Set his last working day. His slips stop at that day, he can no longer ask for an advance, and no new pay is matched to him. The clearance form records his bike, SIM, box and kit as they come back. His final slip goes through the same deductions as any other. The exit closes only when every month has a locked slip and every toll is settled: taken from his deposit, written off with a reason, or kept on record.
What do riders see in the app?
Payday, his net pay and his slip in the order the money moved; every open fine, toll, advance and penalty with its date before it comes off; advance and leave requests; and a way to reach your office about his bike, gear, salary or a fine. His signed agreement sits in his profile, and the app reminds him 60 days before his documents expire. The app carries your company’s name, not ours.
How do new riders come in?
They apply from the rider app with a selfie, passport, Emirates ID and, for bikes and cars, a driving licence. Your office sees every new rider on one board: documents, contract, platform ID, SIM and vehicle, a delivery box for motorbikes, then kit. If a paper is missing you can still approve him; the missing list stays on his profile until it arrives.
What it costs, and how you start
How much does FleetYard Pro cost?
Starter is AED 2,500 a month for up to 100 active riders and AED 3,500 for 101 to 150. Pro is AED 4,500 for 151 to 200 and AED 5,250 for 201 to 250. Scale is AED 6,000 for 251 to 300. Over 300 riders is Enterprise at AED 20 per rider per month. Setup is paid once: AED 10,000 or 15,000 on Starter, 18,000 or 20,000 on Pro, 22,000 on Scale and from AED 30,000 for Enterprise, and it costs 30% less when you pay the plan yearly. Every plan has every module, unlimited staff logins, the rider app, your branding and 24/7 WhatsApp support. Prices are in UAE dirhams.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is a live demo you can open any time with a made-up fleet, and before go-live we do a test run on your own riders and last month’s files as part of setup, so you judge it on your own numbers next to the slips you actually paid.
How does paying work?
In advance. Setup is paid once, before you go live, and costs 30% less when the plan is paid yearly. Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum. Yearly is paid once and costs 10 months instead of 12. Enterprise prices are fixed for 12 months.
Which plan fits us?
Plans go by the active riders you run. Start your portal and we count your active riders on your real data and suggest the plan that fits.
How does setup work?
Four steps. A test run on last month’s files. Then we bring in your riders, documents, bikes, SIMs, open advances and khata, so your staff retype nothing. Then training for your office on your own riders, on-site from Scale up. Then a go-live week where we check in with your office every day.
Can we keep our own web address and branding?
Yes. Every plan comes with your logo and colours on the rider app, the staff sign-in, every PDF and every WhatsApp message. Your portal lives at yourname.fleetyardpro.com, or at your own domain like ops.yourcompany.ae with one CNAME record, at no extra cost. Riders never see our name.
What support do we get?
Help on WhatsApp, day and night. If the portal is down or payroll is blocked you get a reply within the hour, any time, any day. Everything else, questions, changes and new reports, the same day. Starter gets the same support as Enterprise.
Do new features cost extra?
No. Every improvement lands in your portal automatically the day it ships. Nothing to install, nothing to update. A custom report or feature only for you is quoted before we start, at AED 400 an hour.
Whose it is, and who can see it
Where is our data kept, and who can see it?
Each fleet runs on its own separate copy of the portal with its own data, on FleetYard Pro’s servers. Your staff see only the pages you switch on. The FleetYard Pro team can reach your copy to set it up and support it. We don’t sell or share it. The data is yours: ask for a full export any time.
What happens to our data if we stop?
You get a full export, and then we delete your copy. Our terms say how long we keep it for you to export first.
Is the live demo private?
Yes. Every visitor gets a copy made just for them, with made-up riders and money. Nobody else sees your changes, nothing reaches a real person, and the copy is deleted 12 hours after you leave.
