ProductPenalties

Penalties with a reason, worked out fairly.

Give a penalty with its type and reason, and nothing comes off until your office takes it. Low performance is worked out from the platform’s pay, pro-rated to the days he had a bike, and you can confirm, reduce or waive it.

  • A type and a reason on every penalty
  • Low performance pro-rated to his days
  • Confirm, reduce or waive

How it works

How the portal handles a penalty

From the reason you write to the line on his slip.

  1. You give a penalty

Pick the rider, the type (late return, uniform, no show, damaged equipment, misconduct or other), the amount and what happened. Nothing comes off his salary until your office takes it on a slip.

  2. Low performance is worked out

When the platform pays a rider less than his monthly target, the portal works out what he is short by. The target shrinks with the days he actually had a bike that month.

  3. You confirm, reduce or waive it

Each rider under target waits for you with the numbers. Confirm, reduce or waive it: your decision is what goes on the slip.

  4. It comes off last

Low performance comes off after Salik, fines, advances and khata. What his pay can’t cover is carried to next month instead of being lost.

  5. He sees why

Every penalty shows in his rider app with its date, so he knows what is coming off before payday.

The hard cases

The cases that usually turn into arguments

Where penalties usually go wrong, and what the portal does instead.

He joined in the middle of the month

His target shrinks to the days he had a bike, so he is not charged for a full month.

He changed bikes mid-month

Every day on any bike counts, so a swap doesn’t cut his days short.

Two riders shared one platform ID

The month’s pay and target are split between them by what each one earned.

The penalty was unfair

Reduce it or waive it. The slip follows your decision, and waived ones are counted on their own.

His pay ran out first

What is left is carried to next month and shown on the page, not dropped.

He damaged the equipment

Give a damaged-equipment penalty with what happened. It waits until your office takes it, and he sees it in his app.
